We are proud to announce the opening of the “VINAS Users Conference 2009”, owing to the cooperation from the global community of academic institutions and various market industries such as aerospace, automotive, heavy industry, industrial equipment and electric/electronics. Originally started as a user seminar, this year’s Users Conference marks the 14th anniversary. This has been made possible through the client’s patronage and support and we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your continuous loyalty.

The aim of this Users Conference is to share useful information among participants through presentations on actual use of CFD/CAE, in which users have accomplished great achievements in improving efficiency of advanced basic research and product design activities. A unique feature of our Users Conference is that participants can see actual application cases on various software products which is best suited for each task and without limiting the solver codes - whether commercial, open source or self-developed.

In an age when the market demands are avid for ultimate function improvement while setting focus on global environment and comfort at the same time, product development engineers are facing tough challenges such as increased size of numerical analysis data, rising licensing cost for increased number of CPUs in the compute server, and great amount of steps needed in design optimization. This year’s Users Conference focuses on these new challenges and solutions by showcasing pioneering efforts made by prominent users from around the world.

In addition, we will be presenting the latest specialized analysis system for strong-coupled structural, thermal, electro-magnetic, and fluid analysis, as well as our present services and products for turbo-machinery design, combustion analysis, aerodynamic analysis and structural design optimization. Each of our software developers will provide the latest update on their existing and future software versions, and the users will have the opportunity to lively exchange information and opinions throughout the event.
